Cavin Balaster is a brain injury survivor and thriver, about whom we’ve blogged before.  To his list of credits we can now add mover and shaker, as Cavin is actively organizing the first functional neurology, developmental optometry, and nootropics summit with expert interviews sharing safe and effective methods for brain optimization, neurorehabilitation, and brain development.  The summit will clearly promote the integrative approaches of functional medicine, functional neurology, and neuro-optometry.

Who is the target audience for this summit?

  • Patients diagnosed with Brain injury/disease: TBI and stroke community, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) community, Multiple Sclerosis (MS) community, and Parkinson’s community.
  • Nootropics community (everyday people interested in ways to “hack” their brain function): People into “smart drugs”: supplements, nutraceuticals, and functional foods that improve one or more aspects of mental function.
  • Practitioners who work with neurological conditions: Therapists (PTs, OTs, VTs, SLPs, etc.), functional neurologists, neuro-optometrists, neuro-ophthalmologists, neurologists, neurobiologists, neurosurgeons.
